Matej ZUPAN, solo flavtist Simfonikov RTV Slovenija, je domicilno Zagorjan. Končal je dodiplomski in podiplomski študij na Akademiji za glasbo v Ljubljani pri prof. Fedji Ruplu. Izpopolnjeval se je v Firenzah pri Mariu Ancillottiju, ter na mojstrskih tečajih, katere so vodili Trevor Wye, Michael Debost, Peter-Lukas Graf in James Galway. Poleg ansambla za sodobno glasbo MD7 je tudi član pihalnega kvinteta ARIART in Komornega orkestra solistov DSS. Kot solist in član različnih komornih sestavov je nastopal v Evropi in obeh Amerikah. Snemal je za RTV Slovenija, RAI in ÖRF; posnel je pet samostojnih zgoščenk (1996, 1999, 2001, 2004, 2008). Od leta 1993, sedaj kot izredni profesor, poučuje na Akademiji za glasbo v Ljubljani.

Matej ZUPAN is the principal flutist of the Slovenian National Radio Symphony Orchestra and resides in the central Slovenian town of Zagorje ob Savi. He completed his graduate and post graduate studies at the Academy of Music at University of Ljubljana under professor Fedja Rupel, and later went on to complete advanced studies with Mario Ancillotti and to attend Masterclasses led by Trevor Wye, Michel Debost, Peter-Lukas Graf and James Galway. He is the winner of several first prizes and other accolades in national competitions. As a member of the ARIART Woodwind Quintet, the ACADEMIA ARS MUSICAE Chamber Orchestra and recently founded Ensemble for contemporary Music MD7 and Chamber Orchestra of Soloists (Society of Slovene Composers) as well as the soloist he has performed extensively throughout Slovenia, Europe and both Americas. He has recorded for Slovene Radio and TV, RAI and ORF. Since 1993 he has thought, currently as an Associate Professor at the Academy of Music at University of Ljubljana.

Seminar bo potekal v obliki individualnih ur in komorne igre (več flavt) v dvorani Kulturnega doma na Jezerskem. Korepetitorica na seminarju bo Andreja Kosmač.

At the masterclass participants will work individually and in groups in a hall of Kulturni dom at Jezersko. The accompanist at the piano will be Andreja Kosmač.

Rok za prijavo je 25. junij 2008. Deadline for a registration is 25th June 2008.

Prijavnina: 20 Eur. Cena 7-dnevnega seminarja za aktivne udeležence je 280 Eur (4-5 individualnih ur in 4 ure komorne igre). Seminar boste lahko plačali na Jezerskem ali na poslovni račun Kulturnega društva Ariana pri banki NLB: 02032-0256571454 (s pripisom Seminar - flavta). Inscription fee is 20 Eur. The fee for active participans of 7 days seminar is 280 Eur (4-5 individual lessons and 4 lessons of chamber music). It will be possible to pay the fee at Jezersko at the beggining of the seminar or on the business account of Cultural association Ariana at NLB bank, Nr.: 02032-0256571454 (please, add the note: masterclass - flavta).

Za pasivne udeležence je seminar brezplačen. For listeners there is no charge.

Vsi udeleženci bodo ob koncu seminarja dobili potrdila o udeležbi. At the conclusion of the masterclass all the participants will receive a certificates of participation.
