Farna cerkev Sv. Ožbolta

Zgrajena v letih 1849 do 1855, ko je slikar Markovič iz Rožeka zaključil s stenskimi poslikavami. Na Šmihelovo nedeljo jo je posvetil takratni mariborski škof Anton Martin Slomšek.

Parish church of St. Oswald

They started to construct it in 1849 and  was finished in 1855, when the painter Markovic from Rozek concluded his mural painting. On the Sunday of St. Michael it was sanctified by bishop Anton Martin Slomsek, who was archbishop of Maribor at the time.

Kulturni dom Korotan, Jezersko

S prostovoljnim delom so gradnjo kulturnega doma Korotan Jezerjani začeli leta 1927. Vmes je zmanjkalo denarja in kasneje je denar za opremo zagotovil jezerski župnik tako, da je bil v letu 1930 dom opremljen. Temeljitejša obnova celotnega objekta je bila izvedena med 1986 in 1989, zadnja obnova dvorane in ostalih kulturnih prostorov pa je bila leta 2006.

Home of culture Corotan, Jezersko

Thanks to diligent locale people and their voluntary work, the building started in 1927. They have run out of money, but the parish priest of Jezersko collected the money, and the building was done and furnished in 1930. Radical renovation happened in-between  1986 and 1989, but the last renovation of the main hall and other cultural rooms was done in 2006.

Stara cerkev Sv. Ožbolta

Predhodno je bila na tem mestu postavljena lesena kapela kot zatočišče popotnikom in menihom v letu 811, pozidali so jo koncem dvanajstega in v začetku trinajstega stoletja. Znamenita po Marijinem kipu ki ga je leta 1386 podaril oglejski patriarh Frančišek in po freskah iz petnajstega stoletja.

The old church of St. Oswald

At first there stood just a wooden chapel, made as a shelter for travellers and monks in 811. They built  a present chapel at the end of 12th and beginning of 13th century. It is famous for a sculpture of virgin Mary, donated in 1386 by Aquileian patriarch Francisco, and by fresco, painted in 15th century.

Hubertova kapelica

Na strmi skali, padajoči navpično v Kokro, stoji majhna kapelica Sv. Huberta, pokrita z deščicami v koroškem slogu. Kapelica zgrajena v 18. stoletju je posvečena zavetniku lovcev Sv. Hubertu.

Hubert's Chapel

The chapel, built in the end of 18th century, is dedicated to huntsman's patron St. Hubert. It stands on steep cliff above river Kokra and is shingled in Carinthia style.

Cerkev sv. Andreja na Ravnah

Enoladijska cerkev z gotskim prezbiterijem in fresko na fasadi je bila zgrajena v 15. stoletju. Ladja podaljšana v 17. in 18. stol. Baročni zvonik. Freske J. Gosarja. Obdaja jo pokopališče iz 18. stol., v 20. stol. povečano, obdano z obzidjem, ki ohranja historične nagrobnike.

The church of St. Andrew on Ravne

One nave church, with presbytery in Gothic architectural style and a fresco on a frontage was built in 15th century. The nave was  increased in17th and 18th century. The church tower was made in baroque style. The painter of the fresco is J. Gosar. Around the church there is a cemetery from 18th century, which was enlarged in 20th century and is encircled by a wall, that protects the historical headstones.
